Categories system
Museum App has a hierarchical category system with up to 4 levels that allows you to classify your collectibles with great precision.
To discover all main categories, subcategories and types, you can access the Explore page -> View all categories or you can also access from Coleccionables
Hierarchical structure
Level 1: Main category
The major areas of collecting:
- Trading Cards
- Figures and toys
- Comics and manga
- Video games
- Art
- Numismatics
- Philately
- And many more...
Level 2: Subcategory
Within each main category:
- Trading Cards → Pokémon TCG, Magic: The Gathering, Yu-Gi-Oh!, One Piece, Sports Cards...
- Figures → Funko Pop, LEGO, Hot Toys, Action figures...
- Video games → Nintendo, PlayStation, Xbox, Retro...
Level 3: Type
More specific:
- Pokémon TCG → Cards, Booster Box, ETB, Tins, Promo...
- Funko Pop → Marvel, DC, Star Wars, Anime...
Level 4: Subtype
The most detailed level when applicable:
- Pokémon Cards → Base Set, Jungle, Fossil, Scarlet and Violet...

Each category has custom fields that appear automatically when selected. For example:
Trading Cards:
- Card number
- Rarity
- Edition
- Language
- Condition
Video games:
- Platform
- Region
- Complete/Cartridge only
- Manual included
Figures:
- Scale
- Material
- Articulation
- Original box

If you can't find the right category for your collectible, you can contact support to suggest it. Our team reviews suggestions and adds new categories regularly.
