Yes, Museum App has a complete free plan that includes all basic features. We also offer Premium plans for users who want additional features like more storage, no watermarks, and more.

You can collect virtually anything: trading cards (Pokémon, Magic, Yu-Gi-Oh!), figures, comics, video games, art, coins, stamps, and many more categories. We have a very complete and flexible category system.

Absolutely. We use enterprise-level encryption and comply with GDPR, CCPA, and LGPD regulations. Your private information (like prices) is only visible to you.

No. Museum App only provides the ability to connect with potential buyers or sellers. Any deal between users is at their own risk. We cannot intermediate any purchase, sale, or exchange. We will cooperate with authorities if we receive fraud reports.

We recommend: 1) Conduct deals in person whenever possible. 2) If online, get to know the other person well and verify their reputation. 3) Use secure payment platforms like PayPal with 'Goods and Services' which offers buyer protection. 4) Use well-known platforms like eBay. 5) If something seems suspicious, don't proceed with the deal.

Museums

A section is the equivalent of a room in a real museum—the section's title and description will be the informational sign indicating the content. Within the section, you can add collectibles in any order you want, as well as other sections.

You can create as many sections as you want within your museum. Additionally, within each section, you can add subsections, which allows you to better categorize your museum tour by focusing on large groups and then distributing them into more sections and subsections.

Yes, all museums created on Museum App are public, and any user can view them by accessing your profile.

Currently, museums can only be viewed in 2D, but we're working on technology that will allow you to view them in both 2D and 3D.

Yes, you can add your collectibles to one or more sections of your museum. When you access your museum and click to add a collectible, you have the option to exclude collectibles that are already in other sections. If you uncheck this option, you'll see collectibles that are already in other sections, and it will indicate how many sections they're in.

Collectibles

Free users can upload up to 10 images per collectible. Premium users can upload up to 20 images. Premium Max users can upload up to 30 images.

Yes, you can edit any collectible at any time from your profile. Go to the Collection section, select the collectible and click edit.

To delete a collectible, go to the Collection section, select the collectible, click the options menu (⋯) and select 'Delete'. This action is permanent.

When you're uploading a collectible, you have a button next to publish that says "Add to museum section" from there you can select the section and add it. You can also add it after publishing from your museum, check the Museums guide for more information:

You can upload up to 10 images per post, but with a Premium subscription you can upload 20 images and with Premium Max 30.

Yes, you can edit the description and add/remove hashtags. You can also tag another Museum App user or one of your collectibles. However, you cannot change the images once published.

To delete a post, access the post, press the options menu (three dots) and select 'Delete'. This action is permanent and cannot be undone.

Collectible: It's a permanent item in your collection with detailed information that can be classified into different categories with specific fields and private information. You can add them to your museum. Posts: These are more informal social publications to share moments, news, or progress of your collection. They don't have specific fields or private information. You can also take recurring photos of your collectibles and publish them in posts, this allows you to tag your collectible so that when someone accesses your collectible they can see all the posts it's tagged in.

Nobody. Prices and all private information about your collectibles are only visible to you. They are never shared with other users or publicly.

Lot Calculator

No, you can add as many items as you need in the lot calculator. The system is optimized to handle lots of any size.

Currently the calculator works with a single currency per calculation. You must select your currency at the beginning and all values must be in that same currency.

At the moment the calculator doesn't save calculations automatically. We recommend taking screenshots or noting down important results before closing the page.

Inflation Calculator

Using the exchange rate from the purchase date reflects how much you actually paid in your currency. The current rate is not relevant for analyzing a past investment.

Yes, the calculator supports European historical currencies (pesetas, marks, liras, etc.) and other extinct currencies. Data is available until their replacement date.

Data availability varies by currency. USD has data from 1913, but other currencies have more limited ranges. The calculator only allows dates with available official data.

We use official inflation data from central banks and government statistical agencies of each country (such as BLS for USA, Eurostat for Europe, INEGI for Mexico, etc.). Data is updated monthly.

No, the calculator only works with real historical data. We don't make future inflation projections as these are very uncertain and could be misleading for your investment decisions.

Search Lists

Search lists are a way to organize the collectibles you're actively looking for. You can create multiple themed lists (for example, "Cards I'm missing" or "Toys from my childhood") and add specific items to each one. Each list can be public (visible to other users) or private (only visible to you).

When creating a search list, you can choose whether it will be public or private (default is public). Public lists are visible from your profile and in the internal search engine, allowing other collectors to see what you're looking for and contact you if they have those items.

No. Museum App only offers the ability to connect with potential buyers or sellers. Any deal between users will be at their own risk. We cannot intermediate any purchase, sale, or exchange. We recommend that you make the deal in person with another user or verify their reputation on other forums/buying-selling platforms. If you make a deal online, try to use secure platforms like PayPal and eBay that offer protection to both buyer and seller. For our part, we will cooperate with authorities if we receive fraud reports and we will block the user's profile.

Collection Drawer

The drawer is an additional space where you can store collectibles you don't want to show on your main profile. It's useful for organizing duplicates, items for sale/trade, or items you own but aren't part of your active collection. There are two types: public drawer (visible to everyone) and private drawer (only for you, requires Premium).

The drawer is for storing items you don't want to display on your main profile: duplicate items, items for sale or trade, or collectibles that aren't part of your main collection. It's like an additional warehouse to better organize your inventory.

It depends on the drawer type. The public drawer is visible to all users who visit your profile (available on free plan). The private drawer can only be seen by you and requires Premium or Premium Max subscription.

Privacy & Security

Only you can see your private information (prices, notes, invoices). Your profile's public data is visible according to your privacy settings. Our staff only accesses data when strictly necessary for technical support or security.

If it's within the 30-day grace period, yes. Simply log in and cancel the deletion. After 30 days, deletion is permanent and irreversible and we cannot recover your account or data.
