Official Launch of Museum App: A Gift for Collectors

Today, December 25, 2025, is a doubly special day. We are not only celebrating Christmas but also the official launch of Museum App. We believe there was no better "birthday" for our platform than today. Museum App is our gift to the community, and we hope it also becomes the best gift you can give your collection this year.

What is Museum App and why did we create it?

Museum App was born with a clear mission: to unify all collector interests in a single place. It is a social network equipped with custom-designed tools to take collecting to the next level.

We want you to be able to exhibit your collection digitally with museum quality, keep detailed private records, and benefit from unique tools to acquire that next piece you are missing.

Below, we detail the features with which we take off today:

1. Upload and classify your items with professional precision

Forget about messy notes. In Museum App, you select from specific categories and subcategories to upload your items. We know that cataloging a stamp is not the same as cataloging an action figure. That’s why each category has its own tailored filters, offering you a fast and precise way to detail the characteristics of your piece to the maximum.

  • Authenticity guaranteed: The only indispensable requirement is truthfulness. To maintain the quality of the platform, we do not allow generic images from the internet. We want to see your real collection, your photos, and your details.

  • "Draft" Management for items in transit: Did you just buy an item but it hasn't arrived yet? You can start filling in the basic data and save it as a draft. This is ideal for organizing those online purchases that you haven't received at home yet or for which you haven't had time to do a proper photo session.

2. Create your own Virtual Museum and customize it

Surely you have visited incredible museums in different countries. Huge places, organized by rooms, where every object tells a story. You probably have unique items with great stories behind them too, but you can't open your home for everyone to visit. Or can you?

With Museum App, the possibility of creating a virtual museum is in your hands:

  • Your tour, your rules: Choose a title and description for your museum. Inside, you will add Sections. Imagine it like a real museum: you design the tour through the different "rooms."

  • Narrative: You can introduce your items within these sections by creating an introduction for visitors.

  • Custom organization: You decide what to show first. Highlight your most important pieces, order them alphabetically or chronologically.

  • Depth: Within a section, you can add not only collectibles but also sub-sections. This allows you to organize everything much more professionally and delve deeper into the different segments of your collection (e.g., a "Watches" section, with sub-sections for "Brand" or "Era").

3. Socialize and upload posts with your best moments

Spontaneity is vital. Maybe today you don't have time to catalog a new piece, but you do want to share a special moment. That's what Posts are for. They work similarly to Instagram but are designed for our world. Share moments related to collecting (or not):

  • "Show off" your relics: If you haven't gotten anything new in a while, it's always a good time to show your collection as a whole again or remember an old glory.

  • Context and Lifestyle: This is the perfect tool to share the enjoyment of your items. For example, if you have a Rolex Submariner or a supercar, and you take artistic photos playing with light, the environment, or your outfit, upload it to a Post.

  • Connect the Post with your Collection: The best part is that you can tag the collectibles from your profile in the photo. So, if you upload those 20 artistic photos of your watch, whoever sees them can click and view the full technical sheet of that Rolex in your museum.

The social component will help you meet users with your same interests, comment, like, and repost incredible finds for your followers to see.

4. Your Investment and the Legacy of your collection

As a collector, it is normal to buy, sell, and trade to improve the collection. But do you keep a real record of your numbers? At Museum App, we do not give you an automatic price (because we know that the value of a collectible is subjective and depends on condition, variant, country, etc.). What we offer is an asset management tool:

  • Your own estimate: You know your niche better than anyone. Record your value estimates and keep a history of what you paid, to whom, and when.

  • Security and Legacy: Keeping this record is fundamental. If you ever need to sell due to an emergency, you will have the data at hand. And, although it is not a pleasant topic, it offers peace of mind to know that, if one day you are no longer here, your family will know the real value of your collection and where each piece came from, thus protecting the heritage you worked so hard to build.

  • Evolution charts: Visualize how the value of your collection has increased, your profit/loss percentages, and the money invested over the years, filtering by categories or sections.

5. Search Lists and Buying Opportunities

Create search lists with the collectibles you are missing. Your lists can be public or private; if they are private, no one else can see them, but if they are public, other users will be able to see them on your profile. Additionally, they are added to our Global Search Engine. This means that if another user plans to sell an item and performs a global search, they will see that you are looking for it. It is the perfect way to connect supply and demand within the community and close deals that would otherwise not happen.

6. Discover global shops and centralize your searches

For the collector, the "hunt" is half the fun. That is why we have developed a complete ecosystem to help you find treasures outside the App, saving you hours of browsing:

  • Smart Global Directory: This is not a simple list of links. We have meticulously classified hundreds of sites so you can find exactly what you are looking for. You can filter by specific country (e.g., view only shops in Japan or Germany) and by platform type: Auction Houses, User Marketplaces (P2P), Classified Ad Sites, or Department Stores. We even indicate if they ship internationally or sell second-hand items.

  • Your Search Command Center: If you regularly check eBay, Wallapop, Yahoo Auctions, or other portals, this tool will change your routine:

    • Custom searches: Configure advanced filters for each external store (keywords, price ranges, item condition, location) from our interface. We generate the perfect link for you.

    • Total organization: Save those search links and organize them into custom folders. Keep all your searches for "Vintage Watches" or "80s Comics" grouped in one place.

    • Efficiency: We will show you when you last checked each search so you can optimize your time. Plus, you can clone your searches to test slight keyword variations without losing your original configuration.

Sign up and share your collection

If you have reached this far, thank you for your time and your passion. I invite you to be among the first to try Museum App.

Register here and be one of the first collectors to test the Museum App platform. We have done a soft launch to test the platform's performance, and it has not yet been announced on social media or advertising campaigns; we would love to hear your feedback.

At the moment, the platform is accessible via the web and is optimized for mobile devices through our PWA (Progressive Web App), which you can install directly from your phone's browser while we finalize the native apps for Android and iOS.

This is a very exciting beginning. Don't forget to subscribe to the news to stay up to date with the latest updates. The Museum team wishes you a Merry Christmas and a prosperous 2026.
