Official Launch of the Museum App for iOS and Android

It’s been a few months since that December 25, 2025, when we gave you the best Christmas gift possible: the launch of the web version of Museum App. Since then, seeing how you’ve brought this network of collectors to life has been incredible. Today, we’re taking the next big leap.

When we launched the platform, we offered you a PWA (Progressive Web App) so you could use it on your phones temporarily. We knew that to take collecting to the next level, we needed a native, seamless experience designed specifically to make the most of your smartphone’s capabilities.

That’s why we’re proud to announce that the official Museum App apps for iOS and Android are now available for download.

Why do you need the Native App?

Collecting isn’t static; it happens at fairs, flea markets, thrift stores, or over coffee with a friend. We’ve brought all the power of “The Collectors Network” to an app designed for action:

• Instant Catalog: Just acquired that missing piece for your collection? Use your phone’s camera directly from the app to upload high-quality photos, fill in the details in the corresponding category, and add it to your museum (or save it to “Drafts” until you get home) in a matter of seconds.

• Real-time Push Notifications: The spontaneity of our Posts section now makes perfect sense. Receive instant alerts when someone comments on your items, likes your lifestyle photos, or when there’s new activity on your Search Lists.

• Your legacy always with you: No more trying to describe a rare variant in your collection from memory. Pull out your phone, open your Virtual Museum, and show your sections, subsections, and the complete technical details to any other collector, anywhere.

• Hunt without limits: Access your "Search Command Center" while waiting for the bus or standing in line. Check for updates in the Smart Global Directory right from the palm of your hand.

Authenticity, now easier than ever: We continue to uphold our golden rule: zero generic images from the internet. With the mobile app, taking real photos of your collection and uploading them instantly is more intuitive and faster than ever.

Next steps: A little *spoiler* of what’s to come

The launch of the mobile apps is a huge milestone, but our team isn’t stopping there. We’re already hard at work on two revolutionary tools that will be released in the coming months:

• 🏛️ Your Museum in the Metaverse (3D): Reading about a collection is great, but can you imagine walking through it? Soon we’ll introduce the ability to explore your museum in a 3D environment, allowing you and other users to virtually “walk” through your galleries and admire your pieces in an unprecedented immersive experience.

• 🛍️ Expansion of the "Shopping" section: For tireless hunters, we’re going to exponentially enhance our search ecosystem. We’ll integrate new advanced tools to perform even faster and more precise searches and cross-reference data across various platforms worldwide in the blink of an eye. All of this will be launched in a new product with its own branding and mobile app
