This is the only 'NES Classics Series' version of The Legend of Zelda released in Europe. In 1992, Nintendo launched this edition exclusively for France, Belgium, Luxembourg, and the Netherlands. It was distributed directly by Nintendo, while other countries also received new print runs in 1992, they were not 'Classics' versions.
