📅 Date limitations
Why there are limits:
- Official inflation data is not available before certain dates
- Historical exchange rates have limited availability
- Extinct currencies only have data until their retirement date
Automatic validations: The calculator will only allow you to select dates within the valid range for each currency. If you try a date outside the range, you'll see a message explaining the limitations.
🌍 Geographic coverage
Regions with best coverage:
- ✅ North America (USA, Canada, Mexico)
- ✅ Europe (EUR + historical currencies)
- ✅ Main Latin America (Brazil, Argentina, Colombia, Chile, Peru)
- ✅ Asia-Pacific (Japan, Australia, South Korea, India)
Limited coverage:
- ⚠️ Africa (few currencies with extensive data)
- ⚠️ Middle East (mainly recent data)
- ⚠️ Central Asia and small countries
🔄 Data updates
Inflation and exchange rate data is updated:
- Inflation: Monthly with official data
- Exchange rates: Daily for current currencies
- Historical data: Remains fixed (doesn't change)

If you need a specific unlisted currency:
- Check if there's an equivalent historical currency
- Use the nearest regional currency as reference
- Contact support to request adding new currencies
