sta is a flat display box for official Nintendo stores that was used at Nintendo of America's N21A exhibitor. In this exhibitor you could turn these flat boxes into a metacrylate that allowed you to see the cover and back of the game.
Nintendo of America scanned the covers and backpacks of the most popular games, including The Legend of Zelda. The design of the box is the first impression of 1987 but because Nintendo updated its quality seal by turning it into a white oval, this update was added to the cover designs and manually resupplied, as a result we have a significantly larger than usual seal that looks great as a deviation from a normal box of the game.
