This is the English and French version of The Legend of Zelda Link's Awakening distributed in Canada by Nintendo of Canada Ltd.
The code for this version is DMG-ZL-CAN. When we see the cover we can confuse it with the US edition, but it can be easily distinguished because the black box of "Officer GameBoy Game Pak is at the bottom of the Link's Awakening logo. The Legend of Zelda Link's Awakening logo is also placed at the top, while the United States version is below. Also at the back of the box we can find the description in English and French.
Canada has two different versions, which are completely in French and are in English with French as a secondary language. Both versions were probably released at the same time in different regions of Canada, if we look at the barcode, we can see that this version is earlier so this is probably the first version that appeared in Canada.
