This is an incredible extremely rare pack exclusive of Greece, with the release of The Legend of Zelda Majora's Mask 3D in February 2015, Nintendo officially released a limited edition for everyone, a "New Nintendo 3DS XL" that came with the game Majora's Mask pre-installed at a price of €199,99. But in Greece, which is a country with a rather small video game market and which also went through a strong crisis between 2010 and 2015, Nintendo Greece, at that time operated only and exclusively by North Multimedia S.A. decided to take out a more economical bundle-shaped pack that included the game The Legend of Zelda Majora's Mask 3D with a Nintendo 2DS Transparent Blue.
When I first saw this pack I was very excited, as there was no photo or any online record, probably because it had a very limited print. I was also lucky enough to find this pack completely sealed with the North seal. I don't know if the game came pre-installed or in physical format, but I think the game was included in physical format because the 2DS was opened on the right side and then sealed with the metal band of North.
This seems to be a rather rare pack with very few units, it is difficult to sell less than 500 units, it is rumored that the financial situation of North Multimedia S.A. was not very good in 2015 that was when the Legend of Zelda Majora's Mask went to market and also this pack, for that reason I believe that very few packs were made.
I've researched this pack quite respectfully, but I haven't been able to find much information. On a side it has a store sticker where it indicates that it was sold at a price of €149,99 but I have not been able to locate it on the Internet, which makes me think that as I mentioned earlier it had very few units. When I first showed it a person told me that it was very strange that I had PEGI 7 in the upper left corner, as Zelda Majora's Mask has the age classification PEGI 12, but when I removed the cardboard cover I noticed that the 2DS Transparent Blue itself has the same PEGI 7 printed, I do not know why Nintendo classified a console with PEGI 7 instead of PEGI 3.
Nintendo in December 2015, finished its business relations with North Multimedia S.A. The reasons are unknown but it is rumored that it was due to a poor financial situation or poor distribution management due to the financial crisis in Greece. North was the only exclusive distributor in all of Greece for more than 20 years, was the holder of the website www.Nintendo.gr from 1993 to 2015. After North lost the distribution, Nintendo delivered the distribution of grecia to CD Media S.E.
So this is probably the last rarity that North Multimedia S.A. left before disappearing, have you ever seen this edition before? I love this pack because it is very similar to those of the Nintendo 2DS with the Pokémon games: Red, Blue and Yellow that came out for sale with 2DS transparent a year later, in 2016.
Looking for more information I found a Greek blog that talks about the term of contract between North and Nintendo, here it is indicated that Nintendo notified Nintendo% EC% A4% EC% EC% EC BB% EC BF% CF% 82-% EC% B5% CF% 80% EC% BF% CF% 87% EC% AE% 82-% EC% BEC%
