

This is the first print run of The Legend of Zelda for the NES from 1987. You can identify it because the front cover does not say REV-A next to the Nintendo Seal of Quality.
Being one of the earliest printings, it has no code on the box flaps, nor on the cartridge, manual, or map.
Within the first print run there are several variants. This specific one appears to be a second printing within the first run. The way to distinguish the very first printing is on the back: the Nintendo Entertainment System logo has a TM (trademark), whereas the later version uses the ® registered trademark symbol.
